My name is Carl Robinett; I am a Bay Area native who caught the musical theatre bug young and never lost it. Initially following in the footsteps of my two sisters, I began my musical theatre journey at the age of five in my starring role as a featured mouse in Cinderella. I’ve graced the stage playing many parts: a salt shaker, a featured flipper dancer, and a priest, to name a few.
In my free time, you can find me trying new foods, going for a run, or discovering a new hobby to obsess over. I love to cook (specifically things that I have no experience making), I love a Netflix Docu-Series, and I love to play any RPG I can get my hands on. More than anything else, I love to spend my free time surrounded by the people I love, doing things I love.
Currently, I have just finished my work in the 79th season at the Forestburgh Playhouse, where I played Shrek in Shrek, Davey (covering Jack Kelly) in Newsies, and ensemble (covering Frederick Frankenstein) in Young Frankenstein. Next, I am taking a gap year from my time at Pace University to go on the First National Tour of Water For Elephants, where I will be playing ensemble (covering Jacob). I am excited to make my national tour debut, and with such an incredible team and project.
